We are happy to inform you that the alpha phase of the server has come to an end. Although it is true that the whole system of the game is not fully developed as we want, but we believe that we have already built a stable base to be able to play having a super good gameplay experience, so now we can focus on other more important objectives.
During this week we will finish fixing some things and Eastmile will move on to its next phase, the Beta, where we will begin to work more seriously with the development of the custom content for Eastmile. During the Alpha phase we already developed something like the WorldBosses or other small things but that have little to do with the true customization that we want Eastmile to reach as soon as possible the final phase. During the beta we will focus the programming tasks in creating new content for go introducing it in the server, with the respective feedback that we hope to receive from the whole community through the sites we have to do it.
Does that mean that we are not going to continue fixing bugs and programming the missing systems?
Not at all, the Eastmile development team will continue to work on fixing bugs and problems, and also finish the systems that are missing and need them to work perfectly, so you can continue reporting what is necessary as in the Alpha phase , the difference is that until now we were only focused on that aspect, and in the Beta phase where we are going to leave more time, dedication and effort will be with the creation of the content, and as a priority we will only fix the bugs and stuff that may cause more problems, as well as the systems that for example are necessary for this new content that we want to include in Eastmile, the rest although we will continue working will not be so priority.
When will the Alpha phase finish exactly?
Friday, 03/05/2019, the server will be under maintenance until the Beta is already open. Also, register system will be closed too till we finish the maintenance. So if any of the current players of the server want to do something on the server that had not yet could do, or just to walk around the server to have a final memory of the Alpha phase is still in time to do it.
For the beginning of the Beta phase of the server, and thanks to the feedback of the community that has already been playing during the Alpha, we have decided to reset all the accounts, so that both new and current players will start the phase with your characters from zero, in this way you can all start with the same conditions and undertake this new adventure together through the extensive fields and places of Eastmile.
As we already announced in the opening of the Alpha, the people who helped significantly during the Alpha with the report of bugs and problems, and continue doing it during the beta phase, in the FINAL phase (official server), will be rewarded for their work. But since the beta phase is not going to be just the bug fix, it will also be for testing all the systems and content that is included in the server.
What we do want to make clear is that our intention is to reward people who get involved so that the server can continue to progress and work.
