Content Letter
The team has been listening to community feedback about the Early/Mid game ever since the PvE raids rework was released. The intention was to make raids last longer while keeping rewards balanced with the time invested, as well as adjusting farming and item acquisition so players could fairly improve their characters based on the hours they put in. After careful evaluation, we’ve decided to make changes to improve the experience for less experienced players and encourage new players to join.
We’ve reduced the HP of bosses across all Acts, simplified mechanics, and removed pre-rooms in Normal Raids. (Act 8 raids still keep pre-rooms, but now they’re simpler and easier.) Raids are now more spammable and accessible, but to balance this, the amount of items from chests has been reduced, and pity requirements have been increased to match the shorter raid times.
