The Jotunheim Realm event has received a rework of the minigame reward system and the competitive ranking system:
- The goal of these reward changes is to ensure that winning the minigame still matters, but is no longer the sole determinant. Now, a player’s individual effort: completing objectives, being active, and contributing to the event… will be the main factor in determining the rewards they receive at the end of each minigame.
- This encourages players to improve and ensures they can earn rewards for their contributions beyond just defeating opponents. In all minigames, there are multiple ways to earn points without being the strongest or best-equipped, giving less experienced players or those with weaker gear a chance to earn meaningful rewards, as long as they are active and try to contribute to the group.
The Main Reward Linked to Individual Player Activity (Generated Points):
- Based on the final points a player earns, they are assigned a tier with corresponding rewards. Chests are handled separately.
- Values are adjusted so differences are noticeable and AFK players don’t receive significant rewards.
- A percentage bonus is then applied based on whether the player wins, draws, or loses.
- WIN: +10%
- DRAW: +5%
- LOSE: +0%

The Competitive Ranking System Points, from now on, points earned for the ranking system will work differently. You will no longer be able to stack all points by participating in every daily Jotun event. Instead, points will only increase if the amount you earn exceeds your previous best. This way, players who can attend all events will still have more opportunities to improve their score, but they won’t be able to accumulate all points from attending everything. At the same time, players who can’t participate in every event but focus on achieving high scores in their minigame sessions will also have a fair chance to compete in the ranking and win the season.
The Crystals Minigame changes introduce new methods of earning points to encourage collecting and holding crystals, while ensuring that killing enemies still matters but is no longer the main determinant of the minigame:
- 1 point is awarded for each crystal collected.
- Every 5 seconds that you hold crystals, you receive points as follows:
- 1–3 crystals: +1 point (normal base)
- 4–6 crystals: +2 points (double)
- 7–9 crystals: +3 points
- 10+ crystals: +5 points (high-risk reward, as you become the main target)
-
Player A collects 2 crystals and holds them for 1 minute.
- Collection: 2 points
- Holding: 2 crystals × 12 ticks × 1 point = 24 points
- Total = 26 points
-
Player B collects 6 crystals and holds them for 2 minutes.
- Collection: 6 points
- Holding: 6 crystals × 24 ticks × 2 points = 288 points
- Total = 294 points
-
Player C collects 10 crystals and holds them for 3 minutes.
- Collection: 10 points
- Holding: 10 crystals × 36 ticks × 5 points = 1800 points
- Total = 1810 points
A New Minigame has been added where players escort waves of monsters from their faction to the opposing faction’s portal while preventing enemy waves from reaching their own portal.
- At the start of the minigame, both portals have a set amount of HP, which decreases under certain conditions:
- Enemy faction monsters entering the portal.
- Killing players from the opposing faction.
- The minigame lasts a maximum of 5 minutes. If neither portal’s HP reaches zero, the team with more remaining HP wins.
- Individual points are earned by killing and assisting enemies and escorting your faction’s waves to the enemy portal. Defeating wave monsters, staying in the battle zone (and being close to your own waves grants a small boost to damage and survivability), and escorting your waves to the enemy portal are the main ways to earn points. Killing enemy players is secondary in this minigame.

News
— A global message has been added to announce when a player obtains one of the special items from mount and cosmetic boxes, such as the new partner Lady Noctra or the Blaze Hound Rider.
— Now, pets and partners from packs, or those that can appear directly in the Fortune Wheel, and low pve tier specialist wings can also be converted into Magical Cosmetic Essence to craft the Magical Cosmetic Essence Box.
Note: This can also be done with common beads that contain one of these pets or partners.
— The item Dark Crystals Transmuter has been added to Malcolm Mix. It allows you to convert your Specialist Perfection Gems back into Dark Crystal Beads for 10k gold per gem.
Note: The item will transform all the gems in the selected slot into the corresponding amount of Dark Crystal Beads. You won’t need one Transmuter per gem, the system itself will automatically require the correct amount of gold based on the number of gems you want to convert.
— The crafting of Specialist Perfection Gems with Dark Crystal Beads at Fabian Frost has been updated, allowing you to directly convert an entire pack (Dark Crystals Beads x9999

- Changed the speed of Winnie and Magical Camel from 18 to 23.
— To encourage PvP players to use the new Starter Pack introduced in the last patch and to keep improving the PvP experience, from now on in daily PvP events you will not be able to participate unless you are equipped with C55 PvP gear (included in the current Starter Pack), C50 in 1v1, the new Novice Specialists, or any other upgraded Specialists you already own (but not the old novice ones).
Note: We’ve been forced to make this change because, even after all the improvements to help new players use the PvP Starter Pack and be more effective while progressing, some players kept using weaker items just to ruin the gameplay experience for others.
— Now, if a player disconnects inside a Secret Key Dungeon, the rest of the group members will still be able to finish it without being removed from the dungeon.
— Now, when using return amulets within instance maps, the zoom range you have set on your screen will be maintained.

— The chance difference between the different specialist wings in the Legendary Box has been decreased.
— Laurena’s Jewels in the chest have been replaced with the new item Laurena’s Gemstone Fragments.
— In the NPC shop, Laurena’s Extractor Hammer has been replaced by Laurena’s Gemstone Reforger.
— Laurena’s Gemstone Reforger allows you to convert the following items into Laurena’s Gemstone:
- Laurena’s Jewels: x20
- Laurena’s Gemstone Fragments: x60
- Witch Laurena: x200
- Laurena’s Witch Hat: x200
- Witch Hunter: x300
With this new item, you can transform the entire amount of the item in that slot into the equivalent amount of gemstones. The transformation will automatically require the necessary gold, so you no longer need a hammer for each material you want to convert.
