Act 8.3 Update Overview
Adventurers, a new chapter begins in Act 8.3 with fresh challenges, progression updates, and powerful new rewards!
This update introduces two new maps featuring unique mechanics that require strategic Soul switching to break shields, manage status effects, and avoid deadly enemy buffs when mobs are grouped. To support targeted farming, players can now select two artifact sets per run, allowing more efficient progression and build specialization.
A new major challenge arrives: the Vampire Marie Raid, designed around role-based Soul mechanics, obelisk-healing phases, and advanced team coordination. Earn full rewards for up to 4 runs per day per account. You may continue participating after that, but completion rewards will be reduced like assistant rewards. Act 8.3 also expands the Artifact System with Artifact Blessing Amulets, allowing players to enhance specific sub-stats and better refine their builds. These can drop from the new maps or be selected from the Vampire Marie Raid raidbox. Progression limits have been raised, Perfection and Gear Levels now reach 70, and Ascension and Range Levels increase to 8, with updated upgrade costs that make advancement smoother, especially for 4-star gear. New reinforced items support these enhancements.
Multiple new Souls and balance adjustments arrive alongside quality-of-life improvements, expanding team compositions and strengthening late-game build variety.
New Feature: Abyss Mode

The Abyss is a game mode within the Soul Sync System made up of multiple challenges organized into floors. Each floor consists of two rooms.
To complete this challenge, the player must defeat all the monsters in each of the rooms that make up the floor. The player is rewarded upon completion. Additionally, if they finish within certain time limits, extra rewards can be claimed. Floors will change each time a new Banner appears in the Fortune Wheel. Each rotation will introduce 2 Normal levels and 2 Hell levels. In Normal levels, players can enter solo or in groups, but there will be no ranking. Hell levels, however, will have rankings and can only be played solo.
Rewards reset every week, allowing players to replay the Abyss and earn both the completion rewards and the extra rewards for finishing faster. Additionally, the two Hell levels will feature a high score system, and every 15 days the season will end, granting ranking rewards to players with the best times.
Warning:
In this first season, the system will be implemented in a test phase, so there will be no ranking rewards.
As for the completion rewards, they are also not final. A temporary Token reward has been included. When the first season ends, all players who tested the content will be able to exchange their temporary Tokens for special additional rewards as a token of appreciation for helping us test and fine-tune the content and its future rewards.

All changes aren't definitive, staff will follow live feedback and results closely, and adjustments will be made if necessary.
All changes are subject to change. It’s very likely that during the first week, adjustments will be made to PvE content for better balancing, and record times may be reset.
We recommend that, during the first 7–10 days, you avoid attempting any record times in PvE content—both Hell and Tryhard—because timers are likely to be reset.
Best regards,
