Dear Eastmile Players,
you already know about the issues that has been going on. And all we can do is say sorry.
The issue was a small span in the Website, which couldn't be accessed normally.
We want to clarify that they no longer have nor will they have ANY access to our DataBases or to absolutely anything, they were lucky to find the only vulnerability we had, but they will not have the opportunity again.
As we are only a small Team, we can't overlook everything 100%. The Playerbase increased a alot, that makes everything even more harder.
That's why once again we sincerely apologize in name of the enterie Team for what happened.
We already fixed the issue and added a second, rather third layer of protection so this won't happen again.
We hope that you still have trust in us, and keep on playing Eastmile as you did.
The things that were going on weren't easy to handle, but this just shows how strong this Community is. And to thank all of you, we are preparing a very nice Compensation Packet!
This Packet will include the following:
- Monthly Utility Pack
- Winter Hat
- Long Winter Coat
- Snow Fox
- Bastion Title
The packet will be obtained once per account and all the items will be untradeables.
We keep on working as hard as we did to make this Server and Community even better!
Also, please make sure to follow the following instructions if you didnt already:
- Change your Email Password (only if you used the same Password there).
- Change your Password Ingame.
- Maybe add a second layer of security to some of the important programs, like a 2FA on Discord etc.
- Make sure to change your Password everywhere, where you got the same as on Eastmile.
NOTE: If you used a different Password, ID or Email from all your other things, you don't have to worry. You should still reset your Password.
NOTE: You don't have to be completely worried, as every Password is encrypted when creating a account. To decrypt a Password, it must be a very unsafe password.
